| Με αφορμή την Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Τρίτης Ηλικίας, το Ινστιτούτο Prolepsis καλεί τον κόσμο να γνωρίσει το πρόγραμμα Φιλία σε κάθε Ηλικία και να έρθει πιο κοντά σε ηλικιωμένους συνανθρώπους μας που βιώνουν τη μοναξιά. Το πρόγραμμα αποτελεί μία ολοκληρωμένη πρωτοβουλία που λειτουργεί υποστηρικτικά για την ιδιαίτερα ευάλωτη κοινωνική ομάδα των ηλικιωμένων και βασίζεται στον εθελοντισμό.Τα άτομα της Τρίτης Ηλικίας έχουν επιβαρυνθεί σημαντικά τα τελευταία δύο χρόνια λόγω της πανδημίας. Οι κοινωνικές τους συναναστροφές έχουν περιοριστεί και έχει ενταθεί το αίσθημα μοναξιάς/ κοινωνικής απομόνωσης. Επιπλέον, σύμφωνα με στοιχεία του Παγκόσμιου Οργανισμού Υγείας, η πανδημία έχει επιβαρύνει την ψυχική τους υγεία, έχει υποβαθμίσει τη φροντίδα και την υποστήριξη που λαμβάνουν και έχει περιορίσει τον κοινωνικό τους ρόλο.
Ανταποκρινόμενο στην ανάγκη για στήριξη και κοινωνική ενεργοποίηση των ατόμων Τρίτης Ηλικίας, το Ινστιτούτο Prolepsis υλοποιεί το πρόγραμμα Φιλία σε κάθε Ηλικία σε συνεργασία με τον διεθνή οργανισμό «Petits Frères des Pauvres» και Ιδρυτικό Δωρητή το ΤΙΜΑ Κοινωφελές Ίδρυμα. Στόχοι του προγράμματος είναι η καταπολέμηση της μοναξιάς/κοινωνικής απομόνωσης και της περιθωριοποίησης των ατόμων 65 ετών και άνω, μέσω της ανθρώπινης επαφής και της δημιουργίας μακροχρόνιων σχέσεων φιλίας και κοινωνικών δεσμών, καθώς και η ανάδειξη των αναγκών της Τρίτης Ηλικίας.
Μέχρι σήμερα, το πρόγραμμα έχει διασυνδέσει τριψήφιο αριθμό ατόμων Τρίτης Ηλικίας με εθελοντές, οι οποίοι μέσω τακτικών τηλεφωνικών κλήσεων κρατούν συντροφιά σε μοναχικούς ηλικιωμένους, τους ενδυναμώνουν ψυχικά και συναισθηματικά και δημιουργούν σχέσεις φιλίας. Παράλληλα, στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος λειτουργεί και η Τηλεφωνική Γραμμή για τη Μοναξιά στην Τρίτη Ηλικία – 2106101300. Άτομα άνω των 65 ετών που βιώνουν μοναξιά/ κοινωνική απομόνωση, καθώς και φροντιστές, συγγενείς ή φίλοι αυτών των ατόμων μπορούν να καλούν στη γραμμή προκειμένου να λάβουν ανθρώπινη επικοινωνία σε ένα ασφαλές περιβάλλον. Στις περιπτώσεις που απαιτείται ενημερώνονται αναφορικά με τις αρμόδιες κοινωνικές υπηρεσίες. Η γραμμή λειτουργεί καθημερινά Δευτέρα με Παρασκευή, από τις 11 το πρωί έως τις 8 το απόγευμα.
